EMP: ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE: WHAT IS IT???

what is an EMP?

An electromagnetic pulse (EMP), also sometimes called a transient electromagnetic disturbance, is a short burst of electromagnetic energy. Such a pulse's origin may be a natural occurrence or human-made and can occur as a radiated, electric, or magnetic field or a conducted electric current, depending on the source.

EMP interference is generally disruptive or damaging to electronic equipment, and at higher energy levels a powerful EMP event such as a lightning strike can damage physical objects such as buildings and aircraft structures. The management of EMP effects is an important branch of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) engineering.

Weapons have been developed to deliver the damaging effects of high-energy EMP.

According to research from the United States Department of Homeland Security, EMP weapons have the potential to disrupt unprotected critical infrastructure within the United States and could impact millions over large parts of the country. There's concern about the EMP threat but there's no accurate prediction on how many people will face massive damages from this attack.

According to research from Martin and Mathew Weiss, of the scenarios that might lead to electrical network collapse, EMP has received the widest public attention. The threat possiblity of an EMP attack has grown more as a possiblity than it did in the past when it wasn't seen as an incoming threat to the United States.

According to a report prepared for the United States Congress, Russia and China are now capable of launching a crippling high EMP strike against the United States with a nuclear-tipped ballistic missile, and other nations, such as North Korea, could possibly have the capability by 2015. Other nations that could possibly develop a similar capability over the next few years include France, Israel, India, the UK and Pakistan.

China could either blanket the area over Taiwan to paralyse the country or above a US Navy aircraft carrier to cripple carrier groups. Israel can despatch Iran or any Middle Eastern challenger to the Stone Age. And what North Korea can do is anybody’s guess.

Not too long ago Russia was working on an EMP Bomb that can go under radar and be dropped on its targeted area, the pilot leaves and the EMP bomb goes off in mid air and America will be down .

Some people say Russia does not have it and many say they do. This would bring down America completely. The power grid would be down permanently. America would be defenseless leaving us open to attacks from Russia, China frankly any commie country, even Muslim countries that are against us. take over of America would be quick and painful for all Americans.

India is said to have one. But India is not a threat to America unless the Muslims take over. Then there might be a problem.

I believe Russia already has it and can use it at any time. I had inteil on the weapons and what it really looks like, but it has been wiped fromt he Internet in the past year or so.

Here is a Faraday Box that keeps your equipment from getting damaged during an EMP Blast.

Faraday cage

A Faraday cage or Faraday shield is an enclosure used to block electromagnetic fields. A Faraday shield may be formed by a continuous covering of conductive material, or in the case of a Faraday cage, by a mesh of such materials. Faraday cages are named after scientist Michael Faraday, who invented them in 1836.

If an EMP hits America it will most likely be by a weapons like a Bomb. However, if they, those who are dropping it, have satellite capability that could be another way. Another way of deliver is by stealth like a nuclear submarine.
